Puppies: Beautiful Puppies

Puppies are 13 days old today. (Dec 30, 2011) Their eyes are beginning to open!
They love to cuddle, and have started trying to bark a little bit.
They have had their dew claws removed. They have had their "toe nails" trimmed.
They have started going to the bathroom on their own.
We have been doing the early Neuro- stimulation with them, ( We rub a q-tip between their toes, we hold them on their back and let them feel warm and cool and different materials, (towels, cement) wood floor, rugs)etc. They have already more then doubled their weight.

Abby has always liked to sleep on her back, here she is trying to do it with the puppies.


We have moved the puppies from the small whelping box, to a large playing box. Abby and puppies like having a little more room.

Puppies Born Dec. 17, 2011

New puppies

Abby and Cash are expecting Dec. 21, 2011. This will be their 2nd litter. Here is Abby with her first litter born in April.

Sadly Sadie is not expecting after all. We will try again with Murphy in the spring. I didn't do the progesterone testing with Saddie and I think we tried breeding to early in the heat. We still expect some beautiful puppies from this pairing. But will have to wait until June.

This will probably be Saddie's last litter. Murphy carries for almost all the colors and even Parti-colors. It will be so fun to see what this litter will be like!

Saddie's sweet Blue boy

On Thursday July 21st my 12 year old took, Blue, and Green and Black and practiced walking on a leash and on sitting and paying attention. That time Blue boy seemed to be the quickest learner, and really wanted to please.
He is a cutie, he is a fast learner, His coat is a little more coarse then the other puppies, but I am quite sure his adult coat will come in soft and shed free. ( that is what happened to the other litter puppy that looked a lot like him)





Blue wants to please, he wants to learn and he will be a happy addition to your family!

Puppy training.

A whirlwind week, in the last 2 days all the puppies have found their new homes.... except for Saddie's Blue boy. Decide quick if he will fit in your family, because I am still getting calls about him.

Here Puppies

Temperment testing tonight.... I can't wait to see if my guessing is close to the "testing" results.
It has now been 4 days that the puppies are sleeping together in a crate (rather then in the large whelping box.) There hasn't been any accidents in the crates.... they all run outside to do their business. Yippee for that!

Tired puppies.... they play hard and crash hard... so fun and sweet.

Last night I put them in their crate at 10:00pm... and didn't let them out until 5:30am. No crying, no accidents, a good night sleep. Yippppeee!!! The puppies get their first shots on Monday. They will be ready for their new homes in just about a week.
